Revelation 13

Revelation 12
Chapter 12 is meant to give us hope through an apocalyptic retelling of the Christmas story. It reminds us that our enemy is defeated.
Revelation 11
Revelation 11 is one of the book's most complex and debated chapters. We finish the "pause" at the end of chapter 10 with the last trumpet. The chapter's message proclaims that the church's witness is dangerous, prophetic, effective, and for everyone.

Revelation 10 shows us that God's message is authoritative, inevitable, and bittersweet. As we figure out God's message to us in this text, we can consider what our response, as faithful Christians, should be.

This text in Revelation shows the frightening imagery in John's visions. It takes a look at the dark side of spirituality. This passage should wake us up to this bigger world and help us take our lives more seriously, motivating us to share the good news with others.
Revelation 8:1-12
Revelation 8 invites us to embrace God's judgment. Why should we embrace God's judgment? Because it is just, it is an answer to prayer, and it is merciful.

In chapter 7 we see a great army, sheltered by God, shepherded by the Lamb, the resurrected Jesus. And He leads us out of exile and brings us to our true home.

How long until there is justice? How long until the resurrection? How long until God's people are complete? These cries resonate with us today as we often get impatient while we wait on God. But we can rest knowing that He knows exactly what He is doing.
